This warranty is effective on Cabinet Sense’s
cabinet products purchased after May 1, 2012 and is subject
to the limitations, exclusions, disclaimers and procedures
set for the herein.
These Cabinet Sense cabinets and related cabinet
work distributed, assembled and installed by Cabinet Sense
are warranted to the original purchasing consumer for as
long as the original purchasing consumer owns the home
against unavoidable and unnatural defects in material and
workmanship under normal use. Cabinet Sense will not warrant
defects or errors resulting from assembly or installation by
any entity outside of Cabinet Sense Inc.
Cabinet Sense warrants to the original purchasing consumer, for as long as
they own their home, that the drawer guides and hinges shall be free from
defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
THIS WRITING IS THE COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT
OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES PROVIDED HEREIN AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS
AND/OR STATUTORY WARRANTIES BY THE MANUFACTURER, TO THE EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW.
THERE ARE NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES EXTENDING BEYOND THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.
CABINET SENSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS,
EXPENSES OR DAMAGES.
This warranty does not cover problems caused by
improper installation of cabinets, cabinetwork, drawer guides or hinges. This
warranty does not cover any product used or installed in connection with
cabinets, such as gas or electric appliances, countertops or plumbing fixtures.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by transportation, storage or
exposure to excessive temperatures and moisture or to defects arising from
misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, improper use or care or failure to
maintain. This warranty does not cover damage caused by other trades such as
plumbing, flooring, painting, and electric. No installer, retailer, contractor,
distributor, agent or employee of Cabinet Sense has the authority to alter the
obligations or limitations of any Cabinet Sense warranty.
This warranty is not transferable. Wood
characteristics naturally occurring such as variations in color, grain, mineral
streaks, knots and black eyes are not considered defects. Color variations in
cabinets are a natural occurrence due to species, age, character of cabinets,
and exposure to UV light and sunlight. For these reasons, new and/or replacement
cabinets may not match display samples and/or existing cabinets. Such variations
and changes are not considered defects. Replacement materials are subject to
substitution based on availability.
If the customer elects to replace cabinets due to any of the above wood
characteristics, they may be purchased at the customer’s expense & discretion.
Cabinet Sense does not guarantee replacement cabinetry or doors will have
specific characteristics. No special orders will be accepted for replacement
cabinets or cabinet doors with specific characteristics. If the customer would
like to try to refinish the cabinetry, they do so at their own risk and expense.
Damaged or defective parts must be returned to Cabinet Sense and are subject
to inspection and confirmation of defect by a Cabinet Sense representative
before a warranty replacement can be issued. If it is determined that the part
has been mistreated, abused or used for purposes or conditions for which they
were not intended, the warranty is void and the part must be purchased at its
normal retail value.

Warranty Performance for End Users
If a manufacturing defect does occur within the
terms and conditions of this warranty the defective part will be repaired or
replaced by Cabinet Sense, at its sole option. All labor charges incurred due to
removal, replacement, or (re)installation of these parts are not covered under
Warranty Performance for Contractors &
Cabinet Sense offers extremely competitive pricing
on our products, therefore, it will not provide or pay for the cost of removal
of defective product, transportation of defective, repaired or replaced product
or installation of repaired or replaced product.
Cabinet Sense only accepts and processes written
claims. To submit a claim under this warranty, please write to Cabinet Sense,
Inc., Customer Service, 2221 Madera Road, Unit B, Simi Valley, CA 93065. The
normal processing time is 6 – 8 weeks.
